Q1—Describe the difference between jealousy and envy. When can jealousy be good?

Q2—Why do you think it’s so hard to confess the sin of envy? Do you see envy as a sin? Explain.

Q3—Pastor Paul made the statement “envy is resenting God’s goodness to others and ignoring God’s goodness to me.” What does that mean to you?

Q4—How do we kill or destroy envy in our lives?

A LITTLE LOVE HOMEWORK:

Find a time to practice replacing jealousy with joy. Write down specific times you’ve been jealous and pray for joy. Pray for someone who you have compared your life with that they would grow closer to Jesus.
